I'm doing great.

My dad's in town, and so he's helping me fix a leak in the house which is really helpful.

Dude, we have to talk about your dad.

Well, okay.

I saw a picture on Facebook that you posted of your dad at a research station in Antarctica.

That is correct, yeah.

Tell me more about that.

Okay, yeah, so this was in 1968, and he went down to Antarctica when he was a student at Stanford, I think, or he had just left, oh shoot, I should know this.

Well, anyways, I'll ask him after this podcast. But sometime when he was doing research and he stayed down there for a year and monitored radio signals or something like that. And I think there were about

60 other people who were on the base with him and so you know you get to know those people really well while you're all trapped down there.

Because I guess you can go down during the summer, but you can't leave during the winter, or at least that was the case then, or it's hard to leave in the winter.

Yeah. Yeah. So he was just doing research. then or it's hard to leave in the winter.

Yeah, so he was just doing research down there for radio waves and stuff like that.

He's an electrical engineer and has no idea what I'm doing in law, which you know I actually left

law so I guess I've somewhat restored his sanity but

didn't know that about you but I was like wow Ben is not a first-generation

college student at all. Your dad is like in a research station standing in front of some bank of like impressive
