0:15.7	But we've gotten a little bit better
0:18.0	and we're still trying to become scratch golfers
0:21.1	this year. This is Chasing Scratch. Episode 16, the measuring sticks.
0:27.0	All right, this is Mike. This is Eli. And today we are covering a lot.
0:41.0	Pre-Alabama, in Alabama, post-Alabama, we had planned to put out one episode before making the trip,
0:49.0	but those plans changed when the storm came into town, it changed some travel plans, it changed some travel plans it changed some recording plans so today we're covering everything in one big episode

1:10.0	And throughout this whole process,
1:12.0	we've really had two measuring sticks to determine if we've been successful.
1:17.0	The first one of course is how low we can get our handicap index.
1:21.0	That's one measuring stick. But the other measuring stick, arguably the
1:25.8	one that means even more to us, is the golf trip measuring stick. This whole idea
1:31.4	to improve, this quest, this podcast, it all spawned from our desire to play better on golf trips.
1:38.5	You could argue how we perform on this trip is just as important as the index number we get to. But
1:46.2	before we get to Alabama, we left you last episode with only a few weeks ago in
1:50.9	the handicap race. I was at 5.9, Eli was at 7.1. This is us talking one night after a golf
1:58.9	league two weeks before the trip. All right, so I played River Ridge today.
