This week, I am bringing you the man behind the podcast,

the man behind the Pat Mayo experience, Mr. Pat Mayo himself. I actually don't know this, Pat.

How often have you guessed it on podcasts that don't have your name in the title?

Very infrequently. I've been doing my show so often recently and over the past few

years that I don't have time to really jump on other people's shows. So I was I was very excited to

have this opportunity because you and I have been doing podcasts together off and on golf,

football, soccer. I mean probably three years we've been doing shows together, I would guess. Yeah, or even a little bit more. You're always a good hang, and that's the single biggest thing that I look for in a guest is just someone I can actually, like, shoot the shit with. I like that. I also like guests that use the recording software that I use, and I don't have to call their cell phone. Perfect. So we're in some Patico on this one. Yeah. Just a little behind the scenes peeling back the curtain. If I ever have a guest on this show that you're like, wow, I can't believe that guest agreed to do the show, it was probably a giant pain in the ass for me to get a hold of them and record with them. Like when I, not that I am mad about it, I understand that these people have better things to be doing than talking on the internet with me. But like, calling someone and recording on their phone is kind of a logistical nightmare. I'm sure you've been there as well. Yeah, well, I mean, I think it's one of the reasons that i i use so many guests

over and over and over like i sort of have a stable of guests that i go to and i mean most of them i

vetted that you know they have good information i have a good rapport with them or they bring something

to the table they're also super easy in terms of like now that i always do like before when i first

started the show i had a lot of

like audio guests so I would phone them I would do whatever and I'd put up a phone or graphic but now

where I'm video almost full time I always like having the video capability with my guests so people can

see them that people that have like a good camera and good setup really goes a long way and And then you have the Michael Leone experience where he has the setup, he has the camera, but the guy looked like a homeless drunkard this week on the golf show. It was fantastic. Leone, you never know what you're going to get when you tune in. Like when we did the master show, I was wearing a suit suit and tie he was wearing like just a raggedy

t-shirt then we did the players and rosa and i were wearing raggedy t-shirts and he was basically

wearing a tuxedo i mean my my favorite thing was he's in a different house now but when we

used to record live shows for fantasy insiders his office was purple just straight up and down purple. And he would have

this cat that would walk around and get in front of the camera all the time. The cat is like always

what I remember about recording shows with Fiona. I don't know if he's made an appearance on your show.
