1:00.5 | I'm a fifth generation North Dakota, so I grew up in between Harwood and Prosper, North Dakota on a family farm. |
1:07.1 | Didn't really get into family farming at all. |
1:09.1 | My brother did. |
1:10.0 | My dad, my grandpa. We were a big John Deere family. |
1:13.4 | Controversy when mom and dad met, mom came from another tractor company that was red. So we don't talk about that in our family anymore. |
1:21.5 | So I grew up on a family farm, loved North Dakota, went to the University of Minnesota, did a startup there, and then moved back to Fargo. |
1:29.1 | Moved back to Fargo to work for Doug Bergham and the Kilburn Group thought I'd go to grad school |
1:32.9 | and I fell in love with this city, the energy, the innovation, the community. |
1:37.4 | And I kind of felt like moving back, I was 26 years old, that it was an open canvas. |
