Kicking off the year. A new, turning over a new leaf. We're only going to read books we expect to like from now on.

That's the new ethos of this podcast.

Oh, boy.

We're going to just discuss them, what we like about them, you know.

What made us feel good.

We're going to let people enjoy things now.

Your favorite author, Twain, will go through his entire oeuvre.

I'll stroke my chin and sort of chuckle Riley to myself.

You'll laugh through the nose, my favorite kind of laugh that people do.

Or when I went to see who was, it was a folk musician, and it it was by the university and it was at a very old like folk club.

And when the singer-songwriter finished his song, the people around me went,

mm-hmm.

And Bridget and I were like kept turning like, don't, oh, that that noise and then you'd like clench your entire body waiting for him to finish the song and he'd finish and they'd go um

oh yeah that's an unsettling noise to hear an auditorium make in unison yeah that was horrible so well well we'll all be going

once we announce this next book we're

going to read but i have some stuff uh i get i'll go as far as to call it a shocking revelation

to kick things off in 2024 yeah uh so our our year ended last year with the uh shocking plagiarism

revelations about uh i had the book somewhere, Sussie.

And it, but we had some good news to go out the year on because we didn't talk about them, but her book ended with some recipes.
