Hey everybody, welcome to the podcast, Episode 159.

I got to tell you, I was just about done editing and about to upload this episode for you

and I got that Apple Rainbow Wheel of Death on my computer.

And it was bummed because I thought, man, I'm going to have to start all over editing.

Of course it's kind of late at night and I'm tired and I don't want to start all over editing.

I waited for a while.

The Rainbow Wheel never went away.

I finally decided I got to shut it down and start again.

And when I did it, when I shut it down, shut down the program, restarted my Mac, all

of the files on my desktop disappeared.

Every one of them disappeared.

So right now I'm in the thick of trying to coach myself out of overwhelmed and irritation

and frustration and I'm wanting to panic a little bit about all of the things that I lost

on my desktop.

And then there's another little part of me that's happy to have a cleaned off desktop

because my desktop was full.

But of course I put all the most important things on my desktop, the things that I need

that I want to be able to get to right away.
