No, you're not watching a scene from a post-apocalyptic film. This is San Francisco, or better, this is what happened to San Francisco.

This is what happened to San Francisco after decades of liberal policies, and unfortunately it's indicative of what's happened to the state as a whole.

Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve. We're going to see how California is literally collapsing right before our very eyes, and why the future belongs to conservative red state America.

The department store chain Nordstrom has announced that they are officially closing both of their downtown San Francisco stores, citing the fact that the quote, dynamics of downtown San Francisco market have changed dramatically over the past several years, which is a sanitized way of saying that San Francisco has turned into an utter shit hole.

Now to get a sense of what Nordstrom was facing, this is what would greet you in downtown San Francisco and proximity of the Nordstrom Mall.

One of the two locations at are officially closing, but Nordstrom is hardly alone.

The San Francisco standards reporting that upwards of 17 retailers have shut their stores in San Francisco's Union Square since conditions began to implode back in 2020.

One of the latest victims was a whole food store that just recently opened. It closed its doors soon after due to the ramp at crime in what was once one of the most beautiful areas in the whole of the nation.

If you don't know my mom grew up in the Bay Area, I have lots of family in San Francisco. I spent many, many summers there growing up, and I loved it. It was a beautiful city, clean, vibrant or neat.

Today, it is a literal shit hole. And what happened was that national homeless populations were attracted to San Francisco because of its weather.

And once they started accumulating in the city, the Democrat-dominated city council started subsidizing them and supporting them, which goes more and more homeless to descend upon the city, you get more of what you subsidized.

Such that now San Francisco spends about 6% of its annual budget, handing out cash assistance to their homeless population, 6% of their annual budget.

But with that massive sea of homelessness invading their city, of course, that brought all kinds of other problems, like drug abuse, sanitation issue.

In fact, one stat found that there were more drug addicts than high school students in the Bay Area, and add insult to injury because they're getting cash assistance.

San Francisco taxpayers end up actually subsidizing the drug abuse. On top of that, San Francisco had one of the most radical district attorneys in the nation.

He was so bad, he actually recently got recalled. He's a sorrowsky. But the problem is that they're just putting in another Democrat in there to replace them.

And we'll be right back where we started just to mirror in a matter of months.

And so even liberals are admitting that San Francisco is a failed city, an absolute wreck. And yet, as a number of pundits are recognizing, San Francisco is just a microcosm of the whole of the state of California.
