Summary

How you see yourself has a massive impact on how you live your life - the choices you make, the dreams you pursue, and the legacy you leave. So I wonder: how do you see yourself? Do you believe you just happen to be alive on the earth at this moment in time? Or do you believe God created you on purpose, with a purpose, for such a time as this? Only one of those is true, and it is this: God created you with a unique purpose and put you on the earth in this generation for a specific reason - to impact your world for God’s glory. Your world may be within your family, your neighborhood, your workplace, or the actual global universe. That’s up to you and God. But he created you in his image with exactly the gifts and talents he wants you to have to serve the people around you. Do not waste a minute of your precious life thinking you don’t matter or that you don’t have what it takes to do much good. This episode will empower you to see yourself as God sees you and walk fully in your God-given purpose as you impact the world around you for the Kingdom. 0:38.8	I'm so fired up about starting this brand new series on what it is to become a generation
0:44.3	changer. Now, that is a huge statement. What does it mean to be a generation changer? Do you know
0:50.1	that you were created by God with intentionality? Do you know that a lot of people don't actually
0:55.4	believe that or don't even understand that that is truly what's happened? You may have thought,
1:00.2	look, I'm just a result of some cosmic accident. A lot of people believe that stuff. Or perhaps
1:04.6	their parents said to them, I wish you were never born. You were just a mistake. You should never
1:09.1	have been here on the earth. And you know, so many people actually believe that kind of light. In
1:14.5	fact, where I grew up in Australia, I grew up in, you know, we were schooled on this incredible
1:19.8	philosophy. And you have to be extremely bright to actually believe this. But in my schools,
1:25.9	we were taught that many, many moons ago in the eternal nothing of the nothing, two nothings
1:30.0	came together and went bang! And there it was, your great-grandfather, the cockroach. And the cockroach
1:35.8	just crawled around planet earth and he had a genetic mutation. He went bang and there it was,
1:40.1	the frog. And the frog just hopped around planet earth. He had a genetic mutation. We're bang
1:43.8	and there it was. The ape in the ape was walking through Sydney on one very hot summer's day.
1:49.2	And then it went to the hairdresser and had a cut shave and blow dry. And here we are today.
1:53.8	And so essentially, we have told a generation you came from nothing. And you live for no reason.
