We are two weeks into the Biden administration.

I was just, you know, I did a post yesterday kind of sharing my own experience of this transition.

And there's all sorts of meanings of transition.

We had the kind of the, the historically unique attempted non-transition of Donald Trump,

which was one thing.

And there's the transition of executive orders and, you know, new people having the White

House, Twitter handles and all that kind of stuff.

But certainly one of the things about Donald Trump's presidency and anybody who was not

gone home for Donald Trump's presidency is it was like being in some ways kind of like

in an abusive household or an abusive relationship or all sorts of very bad situations where you

cannot get away from a predatory and chaotic presence.

Now obviously different people experience this administration in different ways.

And we can't compare it to the, to the horror of being physically beaten by an abuser,

whether you're a child or a spouse.

But there are common dimensions to it.

And this is something I've written about over the four or five years that we have been

in this, in this thing, in this Trump, whatever.

It has, it has come at the predatory nature of Donald Trump.

And the way he used his presence that you could not get away from him.

And you could not get away from what he might do next.

And he is an inherently predatory figure who, his whole way of living in the world is
