Okay, welcome, ladies and gentlemen to the we're having a good time podcast.

My name's Dusty Slay, and I'm your host.

And it's Thursday, it's Wednesday, Thursday morning for you,

probably hopefully, doing this pretty late on Wednesday. So the turnaround will be tight.

But I've had a lot going on this week and had my had some family in town.

My mom was in time.

And, uh, and that's always a lot of fun.

But my mom also has, you know, like two kids that she's kind of raising.

She has, uh, you know, her, uh, as I like to refer to them, her step, great grandkids.

And they're sweet kids.

But they don't have, their whole parenting situation is not great.

I don't want to get into it too much.

I probably have already gotten into it before, but I don't want to get into it

too much. It gets fairly personal, but not personal for me, but personal for other people.

But they're wild kids. One of them is a boy about eight years old, and the other is a girl about Daisy's age.

And they're wild. My kids can be a little wild. I'm not trying to act like they're perfect

angels out here. But when they get together with wild kids, they get wilder.

And then my, you know, my stress levels, you know, yesterday we were hanging out and,

like Monday they arrived. And then I had to go do the podcast. And so, so you know it was a fairly stressful early part of

the day but I was like you know when when people come to visit you and they're fresh you're like

I don't know if the kids are doing wild things it's almost cute like well they'll settle down as

time goes on you know it's kind of what you think.
