Hello comrades, thank you for joining us for a special 9-11 remembrance episode.

While you might hear a lot of irony and jokes from other dirtbag leftists,

here at the Antifada we want to have a serious discussion

about what happens, and we want to appreciate some of the remarkable actions of the

NYPD and the FDNY and talk generally about how the city changed in those days

and in the years after that horrific event.

So I'm joined today by fellow New Yorkers,

Jamie and Sean, and our guest is one of the Anans

behind research and destroy

and they just put out a really lovely commemorative pamphlet

about the 9-11 first responders.

Yeah, I'm a part of a zine collective called Research and Destroy New York City.

Very topical for this episode.

Yeah, so photocopy kind of DIY zines usually about the police,

specifically the NYPD, the most recent, yes, was this September 11th one that we put together in a very short period of time.

So amid all the talk of never forgetting in the tributes and like the airplane the fighter jets

you know flying over us here we thought it would be nice to never forget the non-heroic actions of our first responders, specifically the NYPD

whom we hate.
