Hey gang, how's everybody doing? Happy Monday. I've got March 27 today. Beautiful weather. Finally spring is really happening here. We had an absolutely amazing weekend.

Over the weekend I came across a, it was more of a dialogue than a lecture that featured a very far left wing professor by the name of Dr. Anthony Montero.

He's going to be more like a Bernie Sanders, probably left wing, more socialist, very pro-socialist. I think he's an African-American studies professor in somewhere in Philadelphia.

But as part of this discussion took place about nine months ago, as part of this discussion was an international forum, particularly on India and China relations, and he was a panelist talking about this new world that's rising.

Yeah, this is a civilizationalist world, nationalist, populist world, all that sort of stuff. And he was a participant in that.

And I got to be honest with you, my ideological biases, you know, when they introduced him and that he was going to give just a five minute little response to these larger dialogue between an ambassador from India and Jiangwei Wei, who's one of the premier scholars of China.

I mean, I was driving when this was going on. I was like, oh, I'm too lazy to fast forward. I thought it was just going to be the old tired left wing talking boards.

I was utterly gobsmacked. I was blown away at his presentation. And I want to share some of them with you. I got back home and took notes just last night.

And I think it underscores how powerfully united the populist right and the populist left are when it comes to some fundamentals.

Now, obviously, when we come to power, we're going to kind of drift off. The left will go with Sanders. We're going to go with Trump, you know, that kind of thing.

But at least in terms of the critique of the permanent political class and globalism and the establishment, I mean, listen to this guy.

You would think, you would think this was Steve Bannon or Trump himself or even Turley.

And maybe that's why it was resonating with me.

He was saying things that, you know, we've been talking about now for years.

He said a growing number of the American people are recognizing that our ruling elite serves its own interests and not the interests of the American people.

The discontent is so palpable and so deep and so profound that many are saying that we haven't seen this kind of division in our nation since the Civil War of 1861, 1865.

And this crisis might even go beyond that.

The divide between the elite and the American people is deeper, perhaps than in any other modern country in the world.

I thought that was fascinating.
