All right, today on the podcast, we're digging into a thorny topic

for many White Sox fans, and that is the play of Yohan Moncada,

the centerpiece of the Chris Sale trade.

He's had an up and down frustrating. First full season with the White Sox, Ryan McGuffie, Vinnie Duber. There's a lot to like, but over two-h-hrund strikeouts, we don't like that. Sox fans are concerned. Guff, are you concerned about Yohan Moncada and his future going forward? Get a quick thought from both of you guys and then we'll dive deep into it a little bit later on. For a guy that's defended him pretty much all of 2018 to answer your question at a very brief form, yes, I'm concerned. Okay. Yeah, I don't think it's easy for Sox fans to say they aren't concerned at this point, right?

I mean, you've got to say that there's a little bit of concern from what you've seen.

I think two things are true.

Number one, the White Sox are correct when they say this is a young player who's got an incredibly high ceiling and who is showing us a lot that we can like.

I think the other thing that's true is that White Sox fans are correct in saying, oh my God, this guy's striking out a lot. He obviously did not live up to their expectations this season. Okay.
