Hinden Hooker and the Tennessee Volunteers dominate LSU, former NFL and NC State quarterback

Most of the offseason quarterback Heisman Hype centered around Bryce Young and CJ Stroud,

with a little bit of Caleb Williams mixed in.

Now every now and then, you'd hear someone mention Tennessee quarterback Hinden Hooker,

and the hope was around him maybe getting an invite to New York, but he'd really have

no shot at winning the thing.

Well fast forward halfway through the season, and Hooker isn't just hanging out in the

conversation, he has become who the conversation is about.

His Tennessee team is off to a perfect 5.0 start, and just garnered a glittering number

6 ranking in the latest AP poll.

And he's been near perfect in conducting this NASCAR high-paced, high-profile offensive

Josh Hyple.

Now he has 10 touchdown passes with no interceptions.

He's on pace for about 500 yards rushing with three more touchdowns already, and even

without top wide receiver Cedric Tillman, Hooker has operated the offense smoothly and seems

to make more right decisions than Bradley Cooper on the limitless pill.

His biggest stage and chance to make a huge Heisman move comes this weekend at home against

undefeated Alabama and Bryce Young.

We all know how much the balls have struggled against the tide, saying the recent record

is basically equivalent to screaming Voldemort and Knoxfeller around the Tennessee campus.
