Sure, he didn't have the authority to do it. Sure, the President of the United States does not have the capacity to simply cancel things like student debt. And sure, when you cancel student debt, somebody still has to pay for the student debt. But Joe Biden announced because he has to get his college base out to vote in 2022 that he's just going to be giving them money. He's going to be giving them your money, particularly if you paid your debt, if you're a person who actually paid for your college education, if you're like me, where all of your college debt was paid off, and I paid for my law school debt, and I paid for my wife's college debt, and I paid for my wife's medical school debt, you paid hundreds of thousands of dollars into the system. You are a sucker. It is just that simple. He's excited about it. So what exactly did Joe Biden announce yesterday? Well, he announced that he was

going to cancel up to $10,000 in student loans, according to the Washington Post. He said he would cancel

up to 10 grand in federal student loan debt for borrowers who earn less than $125,000 per year or under $250,000 for married couples who file jointly. Now, you may think to yourself, wait, isn't that a lot of money? Like, isn't a couple that makes $250,000 a year doing fairly well? Yes, the answer is that is a couple that is doing fairly well. And a couple that is making quarter million dollars a year. These are not poor people.

These are not people who require that debt to be paid off. Those are people who are doing pretty

well. And by the way, the entire educational system right now is being propped up as a giant scam by

federal government grants, federal government loans.

We'll get to that in a second because what this really does is it doubles down on a crap,

higher education scam system that is generating massive credentialing problems, that is inflating people

out of jobs through credentialing situations, forcing people to go to college for no reason other

than to drive up their debt,

and then paying colleges and universities and Jukos in order to do this. It's a really corrupt system. It's an elitist corrupt system built by people who are in the elite class who believe

that their track to success is the only track to success that matters and you should subsidize

that track to success, even if that just means getting a Bachelor of Art in theater. Those who receive Pell grants, federal aid for lower income students could see up to 20 grand in forgiveness. So in other words, the more aid you've already received, the more aid you should receive in the future. According to the Washington Post, the announcement was the culmination of years of activism that pushed what was once a fringe idea into the mainstream onto political agendas
