Woke Buzzfeed is officially died.

Ding dong, the witch is dead. That's right. Another ultra left media outlet fights the dust. They are permanently closing their news division or what I think should more properly be termed their propaganda division, the CEO of ultra woke left.

Buzzfeed by the name of John Peretti made the announcement via Twitter along with the announcement of mass workforce reductions about 15% that's happening immediately I understand it's happening as of today.

So they've got these mass layoffs right now. And that's just a precursor to the inevitable shutting of their doors and their permanent closing now.

If you've been following Buzzfeed of late, this is not a surprise. We on this channel have actually been on a bit of a Buzzfeed death watch for some time now back in January.

There were a bunch of legacy news media layoffs of Washington post vox with a V not Fox vox. And it was reported then that Buzzfeed was cutting 12% of their staff around the same time the Washington post, you know, the paper with the pathetic democracy dies in darkness slogan.

They announced that they had officially lost a half the million readers over the course of the last two years ever since Bumble and Biden came to office.

They've gone from three million subs in January of 2021 to now just 2.5 million.

So it's a loss of half a million subscribers, absolutely stunning blow to their bottom line and so in an effort to cut costs.
