Summary

Sam Dahlin MS, Ph.D., LMFT is the co-founder and co-owner of Crossroads Academy, an adolescent treatment center in Northern Utah. Sam and I discuss his own struggles as a youth, including issues of substance abuse and doubts about the gospel. He then tells of a car accident that set him on a path to return to church. This ultimately led to his career working with youth. Through this work, Sam has counseled and changed the lives of many young men struggling with substance abuse, addiction, and other personal challenges. He runs a unique program that in addition to traditional therapy, embraces activities such as snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, and a love for the outdoors to help heal. Sam is awesome. He has powerful insights, great energy, and passion for life. He is so humble and open. You will love his story.
