It's Wednesday, October 31st, and I'm Frank Kearns,

you a host of the S&A Investor Podcast, where I break down the headlines and tell you what's really moving these markets.

I want to start off by wishing everyone affected by the Hurricane, Hurricane Sandy, you know, just good luck with everything

that's going on there.

As you know, I live in Florida now, but lived in New York for most of my life.

Have a lot of friends that live there.

You know, most of them are still without electricity.

I was able to talk to them through phone and text them.

My family and my mom, my sister, my brother live out there.

My brother's in Staten Island.

So he's got a little bit damaged

his house my sister's okay but there's two or three houses around her that are

really bad one went on fire another one has a tree through it my mom's a little

further out she didn't she got it pretty bad, but not too bad. She's in

Korm, Long Island. But they all still out, you know, they don't have electricity.

And again, we're doing this on Wednesday. I have friends with basements that are flooded in Howard Beach and other parts of Queens.

And when I say flooded, it's not two feet.

The whole entire basement to the ceiling is flooded.
