Hello, friends, and welcome back to the Bikes for Death podcast.

As always, my name is Patrick, and I'm your host.

And on today's episode, we are catching up with Hannah Simon two weeks after finishing

tied for third place on the Tour Divide.

And if you've been following along, you'll know that Hannah has committed to

attempting the bikepacking Triple Crown, which is the Tortoide, Colorado Trail Race, and Arizona Trail

race all in a calendar year. And with only four weeks left to prepare for the Colorado Trail,

I caught up with Hannah on a park bench in Austin, Texas to hear about her tortivide experience and how she is preparing for the next leg of the Triple Crown.

Now, if you didn't listen to my first episode in this series, I recommend that you listen to that one first, as this episode will be picking up on the conversation that we started there. On a personal note, I just want to send my personal congratulations to Hannah for not only completing the tour divide on her first attempt, but coming in tied for third is an amazing accomplishment. And it's only a part of a much

larger goal that she has set for herself. And it is truly incredible. And her story is legitimately showcasing what anybody can do

if they really dedicate the time, the space, the money and all the other things that take

to get you to the start line of the Tour Divide and all the way to the finish line.

But Hannah is not unlike many of us that have

full-time jobs and friend groups and things that could stand as barriers to her being able to

take on something like this. But in only a few short years after entering the bikepacking community, she is already taking

on bikepacking's biggest challenge in the Triple Crown.

And so far, it's going pretty well, which is amazing to see.

And we had a wonderful chat, and I can't wait to share it with you.
