Dusty Sly. I'm your host, and we're having a good time. You know what I mean? I'm pumped to be here.

I got a new hat last night. I get a hat every day almost. This is a hat from Wichita, Kansas.

Authentic with the stripes given to me by my comedian friend Levi Mabe. He did my show last night

at Zanies. Had a show last night there. Dusty Slays, grand old comedy show. Paul Farvar, my buddy,

and Adam Bush, all on the show, all friends and comics and very fun.

You know, I've been doing the Grando Comedy Show for like 10 years.

And when I moved to Nashville, you know, I was working Zanis and I really wanted to, you know,

I was like, you know, just, you know, trying to get stage time.

It's all about stage time. You've got to have stage time. You can't get better at comedy

if you're not getting on stage. I don't care what you do. People used to ask me early on. They go,

do you stand in front of the mirror and practice your jokes?

And I, I've never done that.

I don't think one time in my whole life.

I might have attempted it.

But it's hard to look at yourself in the mirror and talk.

You ever try to do that?

You ever getting your hair cut somewhere especially back in the day

like before i was married i'd go somewhere and get a haircut in the uh the lady at the salon i don't know

what you call them but would be very attractive and then i'm like looking myself right in the face, probably hungover while I'm getting my

haircut trying to have a conversation with this lady.

My confidence is crumbling the whole time.
