I'm Lawrence Holmes alongside Alex Brown, Matt Forte and Lance Briggs.

And we're talking about a big win.

The Bears win 24 to 10.

And now they're four and three on the season.

It was winning ugly today.

It wasn't a pretty football game, but sometimes you have to win those games.

I'll tell you what was pretty.

And I don't know the number, but the Bears third down defense, that's what we like to call the money down.

They gave Mitch Trubisky opportunity after opportunity after opportunity,

and they were able to get off the field all day long.

He only had one sack from Bryce Callahan, but to me, getting off on third down is huge.

They were getting off on third down.

They play solid defense today, but no big plays, no game-changing plays.

Against a quarterback, a rookie quarterback like Sam Donald, you got to be able to

put him in situations where you can take the ball away and we're unable to do that.

And that's what was lacking, getting him on the ground, that was lacking today for me,

but shutting down the run, playing stout defense, getting out on third down.

There were a lot of positive in the game, but I know the coaching staff, they'll go back and they'll say, you know what?

These are things we can work on because going into this game against this team, you're supposed to beat them up.

You know, you're supposed to beat them up.

So great job. And on the other side of the ball, I mean, man, I'm sure you'll, I thought Tariq Cohen was great.
