Summary

The boys are back and wasting no time β€” this episode kicks off mid-conversation about Tropic Thunder and somehow spirals into a full debate on Druski doing white face, blackface in comedy, and whether any of it would fly today. From there they get into the Bubba Wallace noose situation, Jussie Smollett's wild story, and what went down when Black Twitter decided Houston was the spring break destination of the year. Russell gives a firsthand account of watching his city get absolutely taken over, and it's exactly as chaotic as you'd expect.

Things shift gears into some lighter territory β€” Maxx drops that he ran a 6:09 mile out of nowhere, the crew debates who's met the most famous celebrity, and Joe tells the story of moving into his new house with an unfortunate bumper sticker still on his truck. There's also a whole breakdown of the Linus Tech Tips private jet controversy, fake wealthy influencers, Justin Bieber's bizarre Coachella performance, and a heated argument about whether Brad Pitt or Arnold Schwarzenegger is more recognizable globally.

The back half gets surprisingly real when Shawley reveals he's having a boy, which opens up a genuine conversation about absent fathers, generational curses, and what each of them wants to do differently for their own kids. It's one of those episodes where you think it's just gonna be jokes and somehow you end up genuinely feeling something. Oh, and Shawley closes it out by describing in graphic detail where exactly he's chafing from his 10-mile treadmill runs. Classic.

Chobbical Thunder is funny as fuck. I've never seen that movie. Are you kidding? You've never seen it? Bro, I quote that shit all day. That was such a good, uh, tape. That was like a really good way to do blackface. Like that was funny as fuck. That was bro. In Chopin Thunder? Yeah. You know, it's funny. When I was watching it it i was so far removed from robert downing junior i didn't even know that was wrong yeah i never knew that i literally thought it was just a black dude like being stupid i mean he was a dude playing a dude disguised another dude yeah i'm gonna watch it today are you've never seen it So you didn't get offended by Robert Downing?

I've never seen it. You know what's funny?

What if they did it now? They couldn't do it now. No, you could do it now. You just have to make it. You have to make, if, if Traubter came out today, it would be successful. Because it's not full on blackface. It's like you're parading someone doing blackface. What do you think about Drusky?

Tropic Thunder was watching, I think he was on Joe Rogan or something,

1:13.0

but he was, Robert Dye Jr. said his mom was like, please don't do this. He's going to do it. And he's like, fuck it, I'm going to do it. And he was so worried he's getting it canceled. And surprisingly enough, Ben Stiller got in a lot of trouble for playing as a mentally disabled person. I remember that. Robert and Jr., got no, like, he was like, I literally got no backlash. And Ben Stiller is the one that got, like, a lot of trouble for playing, like, a, which is crazy to think that, like, Blackface was totally cool. But when that movies are out? 2008. It was like, it was literally the same time around iron man because it was like such a risk oh watched that in 2008 yeah yeah i watched it in theaters didn't like it so what do you think about so what do you think about druski doing would it just be whiteface i guess yeah someone go first i have i have my own he dressed up like the nascar and i don't think it's called white

2:00.9

face i don't think about the erika kirk thing or are you talking about well i guess that one but then

2:04.5

he dressed up nask what do you think about druski who's a black guy painting himself to be a white

2:09.7

guy and then doing all of the stereotypical white things like being a dumb redneck at a nascar race right

3:11.4

i was funny i mean yeah you got it got it. Yeah, I don't want to speak on, you know. Speaking on behalf of MAGA. You know what? Surprisingly enough, I think it was in comedy. I don't, I mean, fucking what for 400 years, white people did blackface and thought it was fucking hilarious. And now someone does white, and I go, oh, my God, we can't fucking do this. I get the argument of like, oh, she's a Greek, but it's in comedy, dude. There's no, there's no time living on fucking comedy. Do you know who Jenna Marbles is? Like one of the, she's like the crazy female puny pie of, like, popularity on YouTube. but been around the OG days. I guess an old video, this is like four years ago, but three or four years ago, it all came up of like basically people got mad at about a video she did like eight years ago. Yeah. Of her doing blackface dressing up like Nikki Minaj or something for this skit she was doing. And she got bunch of backlash she like apologized and she's like I'm gonna and she just like I'm quitting social media and she like has gone off of she hasn't made a YouTube video

3:15.0

since so she like got canceled I thought the drusky shit was fucking hilarious so but I guess

3:21.1

I can see the argument of like if you're cool with that then you should be cool both ways

3:25.2

Like if Theo Vaughn fucking did a skit as a black guy then I guess you should have the same energy there, right? What do you think about that? As long as, okay, as long as it's not like overtly racist like I don't think Druski was being like racist. Yeah, but but if you're parroting and you're like,

3:41.6

you have to think up, you're like, all right,

3:42.9

like what are all the stereotypical things that I think that the other race does I didn't see the NASCAR thing but at least with the Erica Kirk thing like it was pretty spot on like he didn't really yeah so I'll say the argument is like he's not really parodying white people he's parroting like the individual so that's what makes it funny and okay in a sense. And also it's like the history with blackface and all that kind of stuff. Yeah. But also I feel like in this area, if someone did blackface and it was funny, it's just really hard to make it funny because of the history that comes with it. It has to, I guess you'd have to be like really well done. Yeah, really like like we were talking about Tropical Thunder, right? Like when I watched that movie today, it's still funny because it's, it's just funny. Do you think someone who's imitating another race, like, gets with people of the other race and be like, all right, like, what do you think if I went this angle on this or do they just do it off of like what their

4:31.1

interpretation of what they think druski for the naskar run he he had to have gotten in contact
