Hey, I'm in Manhattan, in Manhattan Harbor, in Depelli the Beast, the corrupt Manhattan D.A.'s New York, yeah.

But I am on the wonderful tour, the USS Intrepid, which is a living museum, I'm on the flight deck here of an aircraft carrier, it's awesome.

I wanted to make a quick comment on what's going on in Beijing. It's really fascinating I think, because I think, well first of all it underscores the new world that's rising, but it also underscores the difference between Biden and Trump

and how they pose dealt with this new world order. So many of you know that Kevin McCarthy met with President Xi of Taiwan, and this obviously provoked Beijing big time.

What you have there is you've got Xi and McCarthy getting together in a spirit of solidarity that seems to contradict the strategic ambiguity of the United States policy.

The United States policy towards Taiwan, the strategic ambiguity is rooted in the notion that the United States recognizes that China, they recognize a single China, and yet at the same time they're turning around and they are taking sides with Taiwan.

They're basically saying that if Taiwan were invaded by China, they would defend it militarily.

Beijing sees that as overly confrontational, and so they've sent out fighter jets to invade Taiwan to airspace, they sent out some of their ships, their destroyers to come within Taiwan seas, and Taiwan's military is on high alert.

Now what we're seeing here is a fundamental difference between the way Biden and Trump engage China. Now I know it's McCarthy, but it's part of the same ruling class, so it's the same class that's dealing with neo-cons and neoliberals.

Now what you've got here is you've got Trump confronting China economically. He's confronting China over unfair trade practices from the 1990s, from the neo-liberals that believe that the richer they made China, the more liberal they made China.

Trump would laugh that off, he thought that was ridiculous, those days are over.

So what he did is he confronted China over unfair trade practices. At the same time what we're seeing is we're seeing Biden confront China more militarily and politically.

Trump was under absolutely no illusions that when you confronted China and the end of it you were going to get some kind of regime change. It's very similar to way,

but in the end all they're trying to do is relativize China's influence. They don't have any grand illusions that they're going to engage in some kind of regime change in Beijing. That's how Trump handled China.

The way, so I wouldn't finally, there was a whole group of people that came over here. I found a little spot where it could be quiet, so now I can come back to where I was.

Instead what we're seeing with the ruling class of Washington DC right now led by Joe Biden, it doesn't matter if it's Kevin McCarthy or you name it just rhinos and neo-libs doing the same thing.

They're trying to confront China politically and militarily and they're basically saying to China, we're going to defend the liberal world order whether you like it or not and there's nothing you're going to do that's going to interrupt that order.
