Thanksgiving literally was a time when there was a group of Christians who stopped and looked and said,

you know, we all could have died, but look what God did. In the midst of us not having what we needed,

God brought us friends and our friends helped us. And we're not even sure that we're going to make it

through this coming winter, but we have a better chance now. We just need to thank God for what God has done.

And this, as you mentioned, this can preach because you have people coming from need.

It's not dissimilar in my mind from like the woman who gave her two mites at, you know,

the temple.

And Jesus is like, hang on, did you see what she did?

Because that was so significant.

Some people are given out of their bun and she gave out of her need. The pilgrims were in time

of significant need and they still took time to thank God. Outstanding is a production of the
