As President Biden attempts to give amnesty to more than half a million illegal aliens in the run up to the election,

Republican Congressman Chip Roy has proposed a measure that would use Congress's power of the purse

to ban Homeland Security funds from being used

to carry out Joe Biden's unconstitutional executive action.

Clever idea, good policy, great example of checks and balances in our constitutional system.

And it failed.

It failed because 14 Republicans joined

202 Democrats to vote against it. Those Republicans are

Lori Chavez-Deremer, Mario Diaz-Bellart, John Duarte, Brian Fitzpatrick, Carlos Jimenez, Jennifer Gonzales-Cologne, David Joyce,

Thomas King, young Kim, Mike Lawler, Amada Radawgan, Maria Salazar, Michelle Steele, David Valadau, that's it.

I haven't talked to those Republicans about it.

Who knows?

Maybe they have their reasons.

I don't know, they're welcome to come on the show and explain themselves.

It seems pretty crazy to me and sad.

This is why we can't have nice things because even something so obvious.
