After another wild weekend of college football, the new AP poll saw Alabama jump Georgia to take

back the number one spot after the tide handled Arkansas on the road, and the dogs barely

snuck by Missouri late.

So many people will be asking if it's justified because Alabama's had a couple close calls

as well and hadn't played as smooth as what a lot of people thought.

But my thinking is, does it really matter?

Now that isn't to say that one team isn't better than the other, but as of right now

they look to be on a collision course in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game once again, where

we can settle this in a head-to-head matchup on the field.

Can both teams be undefeated up to that point?

Alabama does look to have the tougher path as they still have road trips to Tennessee,

Ole Miss and LSU, while Georgia has the best Kentucky and Mississippi state on the road.

And of course, play Florida in the world's largest cocktail party in Jacksonville.

Alabama still needs the wide receiver room to continue to improve.

They dropped a lot of passes Saturday, but as they get weapons back like JoJo Earl and

soon to be Tyler Harrell, I see that happening sooner rather than later.

Now Jamir Gibbs ran wild against a decimated hog defense, but can they do that consistently

while giving Bryce an uptime and pass protection against teams that have depth and ability
