Summary

Hey everyone! While I’m recuperating I wanted to introduce you to my special guest host for this episode, the amazing Nina Innsted of the Already Gone Podcast! The history books generally state that the inventor of motion pictures would either go to Thomas Edison or the Lumiere brothers. But there's considerable evidence that title should actually go to a lesser known inventor named Louis LePrince, who built his first single-lens motion picture camera years before Edison or the Lumieres. The reason you may never have heard of Louis LePrince though is because before the inventor ever got a chance to publicly demonstrate his remarkable invention, he vanished without a trace from a moving train, along with all his plans.
