What's up everybody? This is Scott Yeager here. Welcome to a special two year anniversary

edition of Challenge Media. That's right. November the 29th, just a few days ago, was the

two year anniversary of the first podcast that DNI ever dropped. And we thank you on Friday.

We want to continue to thank you today as we are recording this. This is going to be a special two year

anniversary episode of the podcast. It's going to be a two part episode. Hopefully there is something for

everybody here, even if you are a patron who has gotten the Fresh Meat podcast in already. We're going

to close this podcast with part two of the Fresh Meat podcast that we did a few months ago for our patrons

over at patreon.com slash challenge mania. So you will get the back half of that. It's about 90 minutes or so where we break

down that season of Fresh Meat. It is a banner season of the challenge. I encourage you guys to stay tuned for that.

But even if you are one of the pod squad who heard that months ago, there is going to be something here for you

because the first part of this podcast is going to be a bit of a ask D anything or ask us anything kind of thing.

Very sort of retrospective type questions, very challenge mania based questions, but a lot of fun stuff we took to

before I even bring in D before we plug some of the live shows before we do all that, I encourage you guys to just listen for a second.

I know you guys like to fast forward through these intros here, but I do want to extend some thanks and some gratitude to people who helped

challenge mania get to where it is today. Two years in.

This is something where if you had asked me when we started doing it, what's the goal here? I was going to say, hey look, I'm getting married in February.

Derek's been bugging me to get this challenge podcast going. I mean truth be told Derek and I had consistently remaining contact for about

seven eight years since we had last done podcasts together back in 2012 or so. And every few years we'd kind of, you know, touch base and oh, maybe do a podcast and we kind of never

came to fruition. The timing was just perfect in November of 2017 because he had just come off coming in second on the dirty 30. I was, I had just left a company.

I was out for four years where truth be told, I was so up to my neck in production responsibilities, handling a ton of shows at the same time.

One of which was a 24 episode show we were doing for NBC called Give where I was also the narrator. I did not have enough time to be doing a podcast full time.
