Okay, welcome, ladies and gentlemen to the We're Having a Good Time podcast.

My name's Dusty Slay, and I'm your host.

Welcome in. This is my third time starting this podcast today.

I don't know what's happening, but the first one only lasted for about 30 seconds and I didn't like the hat that I was wearing. That's the problem with a video podcast is now like where I'm normally not generally concerned about my

appearance, uh, well, I'm doing a podcast now and I'm putting it out to the world or at least a

portion of the world. I want to look decent.

You know, I don't want to have spitmouth like I talked about one time before, and my shirt

looks sloppy.

And then, so that one only lasted for a couple of minutes.

And then the next one, I talked for about 20 minutes, and then I kind of was like,

what am I even talking about? And that's how I feel about most of my podcast, because

especially on a week like this, I've had the weekend off, so I didn't travel anywhere.

So I'm like, what am I talking about? And I got into this whole thing about life being meaningless,

which it is without God, as the book of Ecclesiastes says, it's all meaningless and a chasing of the wind, as it says.

If you've never read Ecclesiastes, I recommend it.

I read it for the first time all the way through in the early 2000s, around about 2003,

and I just was at a weird kind of place in my life i was you know drinking a lot

having relations with women and i was feeling bad about myself and my sin. And I started reading

this book, Ecclesiastes, and it brought me some comfort. Because it's kind of like, you know,

obviously we're not supposed to be sinning. But we're just thrown out here in this world where

um what is our lives like there was a it feels like there was a a period in in history and maybe

various times who knows what history is true But it feels like at one point,
