I'm your host Mike and today's episode and exciting episode because it's one of my many passions.

But today we're talking about off-road survival rigs.

Now what I mean by off-road survival rigs, that's pretty broad, right?

If you're in a survival situation and you have to bug out, a lot of people think about

bugging out as a bag or grabbing a bag and then going on foot.

Well primarily, you know, everybody in America has a vehicle if not too.

So when I'm talking about survival, mobility is one of the most important aspects of survival

because to either escape danger and get to safety or if you're bugging out into a rural

area, you need to be able to isolate yourself, which is obviously a protective mechanism

of survival.

So how did I get into off-road anything?

Why off-road?

I consider myself a subject matter expert in this field, not because I'm a technical

driver or a professional driver who races Baja or has a lot of experience, particularly

in racing or a professional field.

I consider myself an expert in this in the overland sense, meaning most of my special operations

career was in rural environments, meaning we had to get to the objective via vehicle and

whether we are offsetting or rolling it right up to the X or we were just doing overland

movements period.

It always involved some type of motor vehicle period and most of that time was spent off-road

living out of that vehicle.
