I'm Ed Gamble. I'm the host of the task master podcast. What we do down here at the TMP,

the TMP pod is we get a special guest on and normally someone who's been on the show

and we chat through a particular episode of task master breaking it down,

assessing it, going through the point scoring, talking about memories of the show,

probably in far too clinical a detail. And this week's guest, very excited to say,

we'll be chatting to Josh Widdickham, the original champion of task master because we'll be

talking about an episode that he's in series one, episode three. We've already done episodes

on series one, episode one and series one, episode two. So why not go back and listen to those

if you haven't yet and watch the episodes along with it. Is that the right term? Watch the episodes

along with it? Probably not. That is not a sentence that anyone has ever said before.

Just watch the episodes then listen to the episodes. It's not a confusing thing. This is it,

but every week I seem to make it a very confusing concept. Just watch the thing and then listen to

the thing. Sorry, I'm having a minor meltdown. I don't know how everyone else is coping with

lockdown 3.0. That's where we are in time now. If you'll listen to this in maybe in 2030 when

COVID is a distant memory. One of the only few things that's bringing me any joy at the moment

is getting to rewatch task master. It was filmed in a time where this didn't exist and it was

filmed in a time where we could all get close to each other and run around and be idiots.

And that's what task master means to me. It's a true tonic. So I hope you can join us on that
