| 0:00.0 | Hoping to inflate their 2022 hopes, Democrats bet big on talking about abortion, but the polls suggest it isn't a smart strategy. |
| 0:07.2 | Meanwhile, leftists tried to intimidate Supreme Court justices by standing outside their homes. |
| 0:11.4 | I'm Ben Shapiro. This is The Ben Shapiro show. |

We'll get to all the news in just one moment first. Speaking of all of this, have ever read the fine print that appears when you start browsing in incognito mode? What you will notice is that nothing you are doing is incognito. Like pretty much everybody can see exactly what you are doing. |
| 0:38.3 | It actually says your activity might still be visible to your employer, school, or your ISP. How can they even call that incognito? To really stop people from seeing the sites you visit, you need to do what I do and use ExpressVPN. Think about all the times you've used Wi-Fi at a coffee shop, a hotel, even at your parents' house. Without ExpressVPN, every site you visit could be logged by the admin of that network. |
| 0:55.1 | That is still true, even when you're in incognito mode. |
| 0:57.5 | It means you really want your parents to see what you have been looking at? What's more? Your home internet provider can also see it and record your browsing data. In the U.S., they can actually sell that data to advertisers, for example. ExpressVPN protects all of your online data. It anonymizes that online data. ExpressVPN works on all your devices. It's really easy to use. This is my thing. All I know is that I have to hit one button to download it and one button to activate it. Now nobody can see what I'm doing online, which frankly is what I care about. I don't want people stealing my credit card numbers or viewing what I view online. And none of that's their business. Stop letting strangers invade your online privacy. Protect yourself at expressvn.com slash ben. Use my link at expressvpn.com slash ben. Get three extra months for free. That continues. Democrats are now trying to take advantage of the Supreme |
| 1:49.3 | Court's presumed decision in order to make political hay. They believe that if they just shout |
| 1:54.1 | abortion from the rooftops, millions of Americans are going to show up in a swing election year, |
| 1:58.7 | and they are going to show up for Democrats. And the data just do not suggest that this is true. I think the Democrats are so deep in their bubble that they really think that if they just shout about abortion, that a bunch of people are going to show up and vote Democrat. And the statistics again, the evidence is just not there. So according to NBC News, this is the Democrat strategy. They can't run on inflation. They can't really run on Ukraine because frankly, that's not an issue that galvanizes voters. They can't run on crime. They can't run on the future of the country. And so they're going to try to run on the idea that if Republicans win the Senate and if they win the Congress, that they are going to immediately outlaw abortion across the country federally and that Americans |
| 2:34.4 | are going to be so upset about this possibility that they are then going to rush to the polls and |
| 2:38.8 | reject Republicans on mass. Here is Chuck Todd trying to sum this strategy up. Here's younger voters |
| 2:45.2 | in a presidential year. They become almost one in five voters. But in midterm years, you can see here young voters down to the 12, 13%, |
| 2:54.3 | and even in that good Democratic year of 18, younger voters didn't quite get out. |
| 2:59.2 | Meanwhile, those 65 plus voters are far more likely to go to the polls no matter the election. |
| 3:05.0 | The question now is for the Supreme Court opinion that overturned a nearly |
| 3:08.5 | 50-year president row, be enough to alter that picture and motivate a younger electorate. |
| 3:15.3 | The answer is no. It will not be enough to do any of those things. Because again, those stats are |
| 3:19.8 | extraordinarily consistent. Young people don't show up for midterms. They do show up for presidential |
| 3:23.5 | elections. That is not going to change because young people are so desperate for abortion, particularly because the number of abortions is down in the United States pretty dramatically. Contraceptives are widely available. It is pretty incredible that the entire left is betting on the necessity of abortion in an era where contraceptives, ranging from condoms to the pill, are extraordinarily cheap and available and plentiful. You're not talking about an era where none of this stuff is available. |
| 3:44.7 | All of this stuff is available literally everywhere. Plus, younger people are having less sex. |
| 3:50.1 | Younger people are less involved in relationships. Younger people, frankly, are largely addicted |
