Michael Coppx's major league debut was certainly one to remember.

Although it was cut short by rain, it did give us a glimpse.

Not only of his stuff, but his moxie and how he does with the big spotlight just right on him.

So much hype, so much attention.

And look how he performed.

And it also gave us a glimpse at how White Sox fans think of him and how they reacted to like his every move, following his every

pitch. It was quite a thing to witness, to watch and experience. So here on the podcast, I had a

chance to sit down with Michael and he talked about what it was like having, what, what, 500 people surrounding the bullpen when he was throwing his warm-up pitches.

The advice James Shields gave to him before his major league debut, what was it like showing up at the park, getting out the lineup card and seeing that the twins are leading off Joe Maurer.
