0:00.0	One of the ways the enemy works is or can have access to your life is agreement with lies. So if you agree with
0:23.0	the lie, this is who I am. Even if it was something your parent said to you, a teacher said to you,
0:27.9	you say to you, you agree with that lie. You're really allowing the enemy to speak to a lot of
0:33.6	who you are and how you act. You can't always control what comes in, but you can control
0:37.7	what you do with it. So taking it captive is like recognizing that it's not from you.
0:44.0	You know, I think about the Tower of Babel and the power of language. Like, yes, the confusion
0:48.4	of language sent people into chaos and all that. But now the enemy is trying to confuse our own language to use against us.
0:58.0	Because language, again, even scripture says the power of life and death is in the tongue.
1:03.1	That's one way I will teach people to look at their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors is pay
1:07.4	attention to the language that you're using about yourself, about others, about the
1:12.5	world, even about God. That's the good news of the gospel, is that even though we talk about like
1:19.1	back to the rebellions, like the things that when Jesus died on the cross, he defeated death.
1:24.1	He fixed the bloodline problem. You know, he defeated death, Genesis 3. He defeated the
1:28.5	bloodline problem of Genesis 6, and he made all nations giving them a way back to the father in
1:35.5	Genesis 11. Jesus defeated all of that, and it's that simple. But yet, the walking out of it
1:41.7	is not always simple because we're not there yet.
