And this is clear in pretty much every area of politics. You'd be hard

pressed to find an issue on which the right has actually moved right, meaning the Republican

party has moved right. You can make the case that the Republican Party has gotten tactically

more radical. So, for example, holding up the nomination of Merrick Garland to the Supreme

Court. But that was in direct response to Harry Reid, nuking judicial nomination filibusters, for example. You can say that the right has gotten

more radical in terms of how it interprets elections, but that followed a pattern of Democrats
