Our own David Kaplan had a chance to sit down with Bears coach Matt Nagy this week at House Hall

for an extensive interview that'll air on TV in November as a part of

our Inside Look series. But we wanted to bring you some of the best sound bites from Capps sit down

to tide you over during the off weekend. We'll start with Nagy explaining the challenge of

being the head coach of the Bears and how he responded to week one's gut punch of a loss to the

Green Bay Packers. So here's Matt Nagy with David Kaplan.

For myself, just being able to kind of understand the magnitude of what it means to be

the head coach of the Chicago Bears, it's a huge responsibility.

And I understand that.

And I'm blessed each and every day to have this chance to be around great people,

great organization from top to bottom.

And so for me, it's a challenge, and I understand that.

And I just think the biggest part about that is just being able to work through the highs

and the lows and try to build this culture, how what I've known, what I've been taught through

my mentors and what I've been taught through my experiences of this great game.

And so here we are a few weeks into the season and so far so good, but we got a long ways

to go.

When you lose that game, as devastating as it is, the Packers, your first game. Oh my God, the Bears beat the Packers.

Would have been insane. You might not be three and one now, but what are you like when you go

in the door at the house? Do you throw the remote, kick the dog, or no, I'm actually, I'm pretty good

with it. Yeah, no, I don't, I control my emotions.
