I hope that you have had a great week because I've got a great episode for you today.

Now remember on Monday I told you, there were two big premieres this week on Bravo,

Vanderpump Rules and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

And for you, I've brought the executive producer of both of those shows.

Alex Baskin works on a number of Bravo shows, which also include the Valley, which we will discuss later in the episode as well.

So a landmark week in Bravo land. Vanderpump Rules just dropped's long-awaited season 12 premiere. And this was with a

full reset. Brand new surf staffers, fresh faces. Of course, there's fresh drama. There is nothing I love

more than a brand new cast, especially if they've been plucked from obscurity. Now, what we do know, of course, is that with Vanderpump rules,

you're going to get a mix of aspiring actors, models, and musicians,

each with their own ambitions, complicated relationships,

and a readiness to stir the pot under the watchful eye of Lisa Vanderpump.

Among them, with this new group, Natalie and Marcus,

who've already spoken about how this cast differs from the OG crew.

They said, and I quote, there are no true scumbags in their group now,

but we all say, oh, just give us a minute.

But don't let that fool you.

The chaos, jealousy,

and relational tension are very much on brand. It's Sir 2.0. So fresh energy, fresh conflicts,

and a chance to see how a new generation handles the pressure cooker of reality TV fame.

It made me think a lot about when I first moved to LA and how if you're in your 20s,
