A meeting of the most mainstream conservatives in Europe yesterday was broken up by the Belgian police

who attempted to shut down the event on the grounds that it might have caused a public disorder. Now to be clear the European officials did not

contend that the NatCon Conservatives themselves would cause the public disorder.

No, no. That group included a prime minister, members of

parliament, intellectuals, journalists, and a bishop, among others. No, no, no, the

European officials feared that the mere presence of the mainstream conservatives

would cause leftist to become violent.

So the conference had to be shut down.

The incident was obviously an outrageous injustice, but there was something

hilarious about it because it took place in Brussels. This is the de facto seat of the European Union. This is the heart of
