Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve. You know, they're calling it the Great Regret.

According to Fortune Magazine, 80% of all job hoppers since 2021 want their old jobs back with Gen Z reporting the most regrets.

It's a fascinating development because it reveals a very significant deficiency in our liberal globalist world.

And that's what we're going to be talking about today and more. I'm joined today by my good friend, Andrew Krabbyshitz from Red Balloon and National Patriotic Jobs and Recruiting Board that connects non woke people with non woke employers.

Oh, it's great seeing you. So what's going on here at restaurants near me can't seem to find people to work yet.

Everyone has regrets leaving their jobs. What's going on with all that?

Yeah, well, you actually, it was called the Great Resignation. It started with that. And what happened is during the COVID lockdowns and craziness.

A lot of people didn't quit their jobs. And so you saw this quitting go down dramatically during that time period.

And in early 2021, we started to see so the US economy generally about four million people a month quit their job in the US economy.

And those are just people that's the labor market doing its thing. It's the free market. It's okay.

But what we saw in early 2021 was we started to see months where you had nine and 13 million people quitting their jobs in a single month.

Well, this put an enormous strain on the labor market. So people called it the Great Resignation.

All these people started looking for other jobs and some of them about half of them ended up getting a pay raise as part of that great resignation, which helped them stay up with inflation, which helped them be excited about.

But what's really interesting is you said earlier 80% of those people that kind of quit their job went and found another job during the Great Resignation are now kind of living with this great regret.

Even though they got a pay raise and our argument here at Red Balloon is people are looking for happiness. They're looking for fulfillment in their job. Of course they are, right?
