Chris and I have long discussed, marvelled,

observed selling sunset and selling the O.C. We've discussed the sociology, the anthropology,

the evolutionary science of the Oppenheim Group, which is a real estate company in California and not a nuclear

facility. Now, some people study ancient civilizations. Not us. We study pastel body contrasts

with cutouts that defy physics. We study heels so high you need supplemental oxygen just to stand in

them. From selling sunset in Los Angeles to selling the OC, which as you know takes place

right where I live in Orange County, we have observed these shows like two extremely unqualified,

totally self-appointed academic scholars.

And what a season this was.

You've got three new cast members, and one really specializes in Palm Springs, Palm Desert. That's Kaylee. And then you have Ashton, who arrives with that signature Oppenheim adjacent confidence, even though, as we will now understand, she really hasn't sold a lot of real estate, but she's pregnant. So she can be

diabolical and then cry and you really can't say anything. And then there's Fiona who,

surprisingly just graduated from college. And she's been waiting to jump into this crazy drama

...
