Hey guys welcome back to the pod doing a mailbag episode today. I'm going to get right

into it because we only do this once a month that I love it so much so let's get to it.

Hi Tinks, love your show and immediately thought I should ask you this question. I live

in Charleston, South Carolina and in May I match with this guy who is a yacht captain,

whoa, and was working in Charleston for a few weeks. Unfortunately we matched on the

end of his trip and only went on one date. It was one of my first dates post break up and I

referred to this as a cute fun and fresh date since I assumed it wouldn't go anywhere since he

lived out of state. It was from 6 p.m. to 11.30 and it was amazing. We went to a rooftop bar for

cocktails and apps and then another rooftop. It was great and ended sweetly with him holding my

hand and walking me to my car with a kiss on the cheek goodbye. We've kept in touch and he asked

if I want to spend a long weekend in the Hampton soon. I've never done anything like this before.

Do I go? Give me all your tips for vacationing with a stranger.

That sounds so fun. I honestly think, yeah, if you had the best time, why not go? Let him organize

everything. Make sure you vet him a little bit. I mean I'm not saying that he's going to be

sketchy but I always worry about you guys. Vett him, look him up on LinkedIn, whatever, verify

his Instagram. If you really liked him, I don't see why not. I wouldn't have high expectations

though in terms of this turning into a relationship. Don't future trip. Stay in the now. Just think,

wow, a summer fling with a hot guy. This is like the stuff of movies but maybe it's just going to

be a fling you don't know. You're still in data collection mode. You're still just having a fun

experience. Like in a movie, this is just like reigniting your Zazazoo. Okay, as Kerry would say

in Sex and City, you just got out of break up. You said this is one of your first dates back.

This is just like igniting and getting the scent on you in the most magical way possible.
