you've covered in your life? I mean I mean, at the time, the reaction to it was probably the biggest, in fact it was the biggest

of any story because the two biggest were that in the Chris Benoit thing, which came years later,

easily the two biggest.

And the Chris Benoit was much bigger of the two.

But this one, when you look back at the time,

it was really big, but when you look back now 20 years,

the ramifications of it because of the

creation of the Vince McMahon character and the whole change in the business you

can really the openness of the business and the you know and changes that some people might think

might think were not for the best but they kind of took to a degree a genie out of the

bottle that they could never put back in and it changed wrestling forever and the

Vince McMahon thing led to 20 years of heel authority figures which you know at first was

actually quite you know good and unique and everything like that and of course was

running to the ground and of course the Montreal finish which has been overused and has been

running to the ground but it's it's amazing to me now looking back on it because it was so big

when it happened, but I thought it was this really big story and people will always talk about it because of the

controversial nature of it but I never thought it was actually much it ended up being

like much much more significant than then even we thought when it when it
