Summary

Point-Counterpoint is a new regular installment of the DCLDuo podcast where we debate topics given to us by our Patreons, and our Patreons decide who won the argument. On this installment, Sam and I chat about whether it makes sense to eat dinner at Palo on a 3- or 4-night cruise. Would you forego a rotational dining restaurant for Palo? Here our best arguments on both sides. they are. You are awesome. And if we are ever on board a cruise with any of you, identify yourself

1:01.0

so that we can buy you a drink at Skyline when it reopens. Meridian before it reopens.

1:07.2

Meridian. There you go. All right. So tonight's point, counterpoint does come from one of our patrons, and they have asked us, is Palo a go or a no-go on a three-or-night cruise? Now, I'm going to say three-or-night cruise because I think that there's some pros that we can sneak in there on a four-night cruise. The three-night cruise is a little bit tougher topic. I'm going to let Sam take it first, I went first last time. I think Sam is a no-go for Palo on a three or four-night cruise. But Sam, what do you think? That's correct. I'm a maybe on a four-night cruise. And we should clarify, Palo dinner. Right. Palo brunch is always a go. If any of you patrons ask us to debate Palo brunch, that's a,

1:44.8

that is a no go. We can't, we can't debate that because Palo brunch is always a yes. If I'm on

1:50.3

the ship for one night, if I have an opportunity for Palo brunch, I'm going. Okay, so Palo

1:56.4

dinner. So on a four night, I'm going to say I'm a maybe, but on a three night cruise, I'm a

2:02.3

hard no for, for Paulo dinner. And the reason is, is that you've got three different unique

2:08.6

dining experiences in the main dining rooms. You know, on the, on the larger ships,

2:14.8

you've got royal court, royal palace, you've got Enchanted Garden, and then

2:19.7

Animators Palate. Those are on the three of the three restaurants on the larger ships,

2:25.0

on the smaller ships. You've got whatever, it's the Royal, you've got Tritons instead of Royal Court,

2:31.0

Royal Palace. You've got Tiana's or Rapunzels, and then you've got Animator's

2:35.0

palette as the third.
