So Real Housewives of Orange County and Miami, and also the story that erupted last week about a cast member on Real Housewives of Potomac.

Okay, let me first set the stage for you.

In April 2024, Wendy Acefo and her family,

Wendy is on Real Housewives of Potomac as I mentioned.

They reportedly went on a trip to Jamaica.

Upon their return, Wendy and her husband Eddie claimed that their home in

Carroll County, Maryland, had been burglarized. They told authorities, specifically the Carroll County

Sheriff's Office, that their bedroom and closets were ransacked and numerous designer handbags,

jewelry, clothing, shoes, high-end luxury items had been stolen.

The Acefos claimed a substantial loss.

Their insurance paperwork reportedly valued the missing items at more than $450,000 in personal

property.

They filed insurance claims with multiple insurers for the losses, including at some

point updating one to add Wendy's

diamond anniversary ban. So as law enforcement insurers began to dive into the claim,

several inconsistencies and suspicious details surfaced. Some items claim stolen had already

been returned to stores before the purported burglary, meaning refunds had been processed.

Now, that suggests the items might not have been stolen at all.

Social media posts showed Wendy apparently wearing jewelry, example, the diamond ring, that have been reported as stolen after the burglary date.
