I wanted to do a follow-up video on demographics today because they really are amazing, the studies that are coming out right now are pretty impressive.

I've been doing a lot of reading, got my notes right here, been doing a lot of reading on the relationship between political perspective and heritability, how much we inherit genetically are political leanings.

It's really interesting.

Jordan Peterson has done a lot of work on this.

And it is widely recognized in genetic literature, psychological literature, that our politics are largely the result of our temperament and our personality, and our temperament and our personality are largely determined by our genetics.

Again, not entirely, but certainly it's very significant.

We've talked of late about the Moral Foundation's theory of social psychologist Jonathan Hyte, who argues there's basically five Moral Foundations to any society and the political left is basically obsessed with two of them, with fairness and with equality.

I'm sorry, fairness and equality are the same thing, and safety, whereas the right, those who are generally conservative, are actually well balanced in all five.
