Hairdressers are coming to work in masks. They're wearing shields while they're doing shampoo services. They're changing their smocks and capes. And so I hope that government officials will hear this and just know that salons, we're serious about what we're doing and we can do this in a safe way. Hello, I'm Rebecca Taylor. the hair game podcast hey listener i'm eric taylor it looks like almost all counties in

california are allowing salons to be open now san francisco looks like they're still shut down

they're going to be shut down for a few more weeks. Los Angeles County is allowed to open. The cities are now calling some of the shots now.

For example, Beverly Hills, they are threatening to stay closed for a little while more.

We are waiting to hear details from them. City of Santa Monica wouldn't be surprised if they're going to stay shut down a little bit longer as well.

But most cities within LA County are going to be opening imminently.

So check your city's websites for the protocols to follow.

The protocols are largely a local thing. Okay, the city has it. I'm sorry, the state has its own protocols and then the county has his protocols and then this this city is going to

throw out some things as well so do your best to go to the websites of you go to

the website of your city and they will likely mirror some of the protocols from

the state and the county and familiarize yourself with them and prepare yourself

for them and then tell your clients.

Okay.

There's going to be some clients who are likely not going to want to wear a mask, etc.

Tell them in advance.

Look, I'm not going to see you if you don't wear a mask.

These are the rules.

This is what you have to do in order to come see me.
