Today I got a really fun guest, someone I've known for a long time, who has solved a lot of my

out-cunning problems. And when you hear that he's a doctor, a foot and ankle specialist,

he'll say, well, how could he solve all your out-cunning problems? I didn't solve them all,

but he certainly made my out-cunning easier, better, less complicated, less painful,

and allows me to spend 100 days a year stompin' the hills, sometimes with some pretty heavy load

on my back. So it has to do with the idea that your feet are the core of your contact to the world.

And when you're out out-cunning on the public land, highly pressured elk like we are,

that contact point, your feet and ankles, takes a lot of abuse, and if you don't have it

dialed in if you're trying to shortcut it or whatever, odds are you're gonna pay, you're gonna
