Together we break down the writing, recording, and inspiration behind the fan favorite hit, whitewashed,

taken from their 2009 album, Constellations.

J.B. and the rest of the guys are insanely proficient musicians.

This is technical metal at its finest, but not without an

underlying song and structure to back it up. J.B. explained the lyrical

inspiration came from a disgruntled promoter who decided to chastise the band for having alcoholic beverages

as part of their backstage requirements. So the band turned around and put it to song.

No one likes to be unfairly judged, and you can certainly hear the anger and emotion behind this

lyric.
