This past week saw the launch of a website called Mormon WikiLeaks,

and that's exactly what it sounds like.

It's a, quote, safe, secure, an anonymous way to submit documents, videos,

or any other information regarding the church."

The site was started by Ryan McNight, a former Mormon himself.

In September, he caused a bit of a stir on the X-Morman's

subreddit when he began leaking some internal documents of his own,

something I want to ask him about.

But let's start out by just saying, hi to Ryan,

thank you for joining me, and can you give me some background

before we get into all this about your own history with the Mormon Church?

Sure, you know first I just want to say him and thank you for inviting me on and I'm you

questions and I'll do my best to answer them.

Awesome so yeah what's your story how did you? Were you you were a Mormon growing up, but I'm

specifically curious as to how you left the church and what caused that?

Right. Yeah, I was born into the church and you know on my dad's side you know I have

lineage it goes all the way back to the early days of Mormonism.

And I was brought up in a typical Mormon household.

And I served a Mormon mission in Barcelona, Spain.

And I loved my mission. It was a great experience for me. I was married in the Mormon temple. I lived, you know, the life of an average Mormon, fully believing in the tenants of Mormonism.

And when I was 32, which would have been about three and a half years ago.
