All of the off-season talk in the state of Florida was about the new head coaches at Florida

and Miami. FSU was just a footnote in the headlines of the ACC race, and after playing

lowly Ducane, the similes had to go play against LSU in New Orleans with a head coach that was

on shaky round after two straight years of mediocrity. Now fast forward to week three,

and FSU has a chance to become a narrative in their own right. A win at Louisville was

shows something we haven't seen during the Norvell era in Tallahassee. That is consistency.

The biggest win Norvell's had to his name at FSU was in his first year beating number five

North Carolina at home, only to get blown out in the next game on the road by 32. That game

was in Louisville. Jordan Travis has to continue to be efficient in the air. He's using his

all while not turning the ball over. The run game will continue to be scary because Travis

is such a threat to keep it on the zone, read, or tuck and run in every moment. But so far,

the thing that is the most surprising about FSU is they just look more organized.
